I am a Spiritual Mentor,Transformational Coach and Meditation Teacher.  I have been doing transformative work with individuals and groups for over 25 years and my purpose is to help people to discover their unlimited Self.

I am a member of the EMCC (European Mentoring and Coaching Council) and am an EMCC accredited practitioner coach. I have several accredited diplomas in personal, leadership and executive coaching, as well as one as a Certified Deep Transformational Coach from the Centre of Transformational Coaching and Living. I also hold many diplomas in psychological therapies. Finally, I spent 7 years as a Buddhist monk and teacher during which I became an accomplished meditator.

Using My Skills to Help People

Whilst I make a living from coaching – it is underpinned with a deep sense
of purpose to support other people with their spiritual journey and
awakening. Having walked the path myself, and having given many
retreats, mentoring and coaching sessions, I find myself in a great place to
non dogmatically point clients to their own truth.

Though my own background is connected to Eastern Traditions, I use a
framework that is alligned with Spirit and does not involve any specific
belief system, other than the existence of an evolutionary spiritual force.
My work very much enables clients to open themselves to that which is
ready to emerge and to develop and discover spirituality for themselves.

I know that everyone carries within them a fully awakened state,
permeated with wisdom and guidance, and I see my role as being one
of helping you to discover that.

I live in rural Ireland with my wife Avril and I am a father to an adult daughter and a teenage daughter.

Wholly Spiritual is a brand name which I chose,

to suggest that nothing in our lives is separate to the Spiritual.

My Story In Case You Want to Know
(but it is just a story!)

I was born in 1963 and started my own spiritual journey when I was 15. At the time, I would rise a few hours before school time and sit in mediation trying out various techniques. During the next 9 years I tried out lots of approaches and teachers, especially Indian approaches and New Age. I had lots of spiritual experiences but no real breakthrough.

Then a wise sage started to appear in my dreams every single night and download spiritual knowledge into me. I know this sounds fantastical, but I promise this is what happened. Later, I saw his picture hanging in a Buddhist monastery – he died several years before these transmissions happened.

One night I awoke in resplendent luminous light and saw directly the nature of reality and my own true essence. The wisdom that arose from this has never been lost, though the experience, like all experiences, faded. This awakening experience was the beginning of a long spiritual adventure, full of pitfalls and wrong turns, but culminating in being able to integrate spirituality into everyday life in a very powerful way. The essence of this was awakening from the ego concept and discovering the spiritual essence which is the basis of all existence.

The journey included 7 years as a Buddhist monk in the Tibetan Tradition, initiation into advanced Tibetan secret and tantric practices, teachings from Taoist masters,  visions of deities and angels, deep experience of meditation, and during the last 20 years, study and practice with a range of teachers of non-dual teachings in the Dzogchen and Advaita traditions. In recent times I have undergone a period of study and training with renowned Transformational Coach Leon Vanderpol and been trained by a Japanese Zen Master in the art of koan inquiry.

A significant aspect of my journey has been the shift from ego to heart, and the discovery of Presence, the essence of Self.

The spiritual journey is evolutionary, even once the searching has stopped. My journey now very much involves holding and transmitting a sacred space for those who are ready to transform.
